This course offers a view of the Sangre de Cristo Mountain for a backdrop. The design includes several dogleg fairways, and some holes have water in play. The greens have medium speed and size. The signature hole is #9, a 572-yard, par 5, which plays slightly downhill and is protected by water on the front and right of the green.
A scenic 30 minute drive to nearby Taos New Mexico. Taos Country Club opened for play in 1994 with 18 championship holes and 65 3-acre home sites. The longer-playing layouts of the front nine wind through two unspoiled canyons of aspen and spruce. The signature 6th hole features a tee box soaring 200 vertical feet above the green - 239 yeards away.
